Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get my CEs?

You must watch all the required video lessons to be eligible to receive your CEs. After you have watched the video lessons, you will be redirected to CPA’s website to complete your post-test and receive your certificate.

Do I have to complete the eCourse in a certain time frame?

You do not have to complete this eCourse within a certain time frame. You may go at your pace.

Does my link to the course expire?

Your link and password to view the eCourse will not expire.

How do I login in?

You can view the video lessons from your eCourse here. You will need your unique password  (which was included in your Welcome Email from CPA) in order to view the video lesson. After you have completed the videos, you will be redirected to CPA’s website to complete your post-test and receive your certificate.

Can you pause a video halfway through the lesson?

You can pause a video part of the way through a video lesson, but once you close your browser your place will not be saved and the video will restart from the beginning.

Can I download the video lessons?

Video lessons cannot be downloaded. They must be streamed, so an internet connection is required to view the lessons.

Does this eCourse meet the BOP and BBS requirements?

This eCourse meets the new BOP and BBS requirement in California for six hours of training in suicide risk assessment and intervention. Upon completion of this eCourse, including passing a post-test, you will receive a certificate showing that you have met this CE requirement.

Can I download the slides from the presentation?

Yes, you can download a PDF of the slides upon which you can take notes. Full-sized, high-res slides are not available to download due to copyright concerns.
