A lovely article and it reminded me of a video by Brene Brown called The power of vulnerability in which she suggests that individuals that form deep and connected relationships appear to be prepared to expose their vulnerabilities (e.g. guilt, shame, etc)

In the first instance this might be (as your article suggests) to become aware of one's own vulnerabilities and then to find the courage not to run away from them but rather to share and expose them in order to debunk the lies that have been weaved into them from early experience.

Thanks once again for the article and I hope you find the video relevant and useful

Warm Regards
Phil

If you liked this, you'll (possibly) love "Revolver" [2005] with Jason Statham. The plot relies on many of the themes presented here.

Fantastic read, I just passed this onto a friend who was doing a little homework on that. And he actually bought me lunch because I found it for him.... smile.. So let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch! But yeah Thanks for taking the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love learning more on this topic. If possible, as you gain expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more information? It is extremely helpful for me.
